18th position: Balancing the Chi Sau Gong

Also known as "Balancing the Chi to Close" stance or "Sau Gong", is a combination of biofeedback, visualization and gentle exercise movements that together have a profound impact on mental, physical and emotional health. It also helps give a boost to the immune system.

Description From the start position raise your arms up as far as your shoulder level. Palms oriented up. You draw the energy up your body. On the ascending movement your legs are straights. Inhale om this movement. Then bring down your arms as far as your hips level. Palms oriented down. You push the energy down your knees. On the descending movement your legs are bents. Exhale om this movement. Complete six movements up and six movements down. Return to starting position.
