10th position: Cloud Hands in Horse Stance

Known also as "Cloud Hands in a Horse-riding Stance" stance or simply "Cloud Hands". A family's support of and participation in treatment is often times the key to successful recovery.

Description Turn your body to the right and move your support on the left leg.Raise your right arm to your head height with the palm oriented towards your body. Look to the right palm. The left arm is at the hip level with palm facing to the ground.From this position, change your arms between them.Your left arm to your head height with the palm oriented towards your body.Right arm is at the hip level with palm facing to the ground.With the arms in this position, rotate your body to the left. When movement is to the left, the body rests on the right leg.At this point, again change your arms position between them and then, rotate your body to the right. When movement is to the right, the body rests on the left leg.Is a sequence of movements (six to the right and six to the left) involving very precise coordination of hands, legs and breathing.Breathing sequence is as follows: inhale on the rotation to the left; retain the air during the change of your arms position; exhale on the rotation to the right. Return to starting position after you finish the 12 rotations. Test your position with the following pictures (note: to watch in best resolution, click on them).
