1st position: Breathing

Also known as "Raising the arms" or "Tai Chi Kung Start" Review Everyone has an invisible energy system that flows energy on pathways or meridians. When you are energy-depleted and challenged, it is more difficult to manage your emotions, think positive thoughts, stay healthy and attract harmony into your life.
Description From starting position, raise your arms in front above shoulder level, palms facing down with the fingers open. The arms are spread apart. Follows a descending movement like you push the air down and and lead it to your own body, accompanied by a slight bending of your knees. When the arms get down, straighten your knees. Then raise your arms as the initial movement. Inhale on your nose to ascending movement. Exhale on your mouth to descending movement. Repeat this cycle 6 times and then return to starting position (Dan Tian point, your Qi energy center). For women, the right hand over Dan Tian point area and left hand on top. For men it is vice versa. It is very important to visualize those movements. The movement should be fluent and natural.
