The song itself, which gives title of the movie, is performed in the sequences of Yellow Submarine's cast presentation. You also can download this song in MP3 format from the main page direct to your computer, iPod Shuffle, iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod Touch or other portable media player. Like a supplement to the title song Yellow Submarine, five new songs were composed for the movie: Only a Northern Song, a George Harrison song originally recorded during sessions for Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band; It's All Too Much; All Together Now; Baby, You're a Rich Man; Hey Bulldog, a John Lennon piano coposition. The film's instrumental music was an orchestral score composed and arranged by George Martin. One of the film's cues, heard after the main title credits, was originally recorded during sessions for Good Night (an album track for The Beatles the White Album) and would have been used as the introduction to Ringo's composition Don't Pass Me By, also on the White Album.
Comment 4: When I get older, losing my hair many years from now, will you still be sending me a valentine Birthday, greetings, bottle of wine. If I'd been out till quarter to three Would you lock the door? Will you still feed me when I'm sixty-four? You'll be older, too And if you say the word I could stay with you I could be handy mending a fuse when your lights have gone you can knit a sweater by the fireside Sunday mornings, go for a ride doing the garden, digging the weeds who could ask for more? Will you still feed me when I'm sixty-four? Every summer we can rent a cottage in the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear We shall scrimp and save Grandchildren on your knee, Vera, Chuck and Dave Send me a postcard, drop me a line Stating point of view Indicate precisely what you mean to say Yours sincerely, wasting away Give me your answer, fill in a form, mine forever more Will you still need me, When I'm sixty-four? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, gentlemen, but would you agree that we have been passing through the Sea of Time? That would explain a few things. I'm glad I'm not young any more. Or was it old? What kind of a sea is this? The Sea of Science. Oh, yeah. If you're listening to this song You may think the chords are going wrong But they're not He just wrote it like that When you're listening late at night You may think the band are not quite right But they are They just play it like that It doesn't really matter what chords I play Somebody push a button. There's a Cyclops. Can't be. He's got two eyes. Then it must be a bi-Cyclops. There's another one. A whole cyclopedia. There's a school of whales. They look a bit old for school. University, then. University of Whales. They look like dropouts to me. You've got to steer clear. Steer clear? Yes, steer. Clear? Yes, dear. Now, whatever you do, don't touch that button. Which button? That one. This one? Poor Ringo. Poor lad. Never did no harm to no-one. Lads, now Ringo's gone, what are we gonna do? Learn to sing trios. I see footsteps. It's a pair of kinky boot-beasts. I don't half miss, Ringo. He's far out there. Always was. Here comes Ringo! 'H' is for hurry! There goes Ringo. It's seen us. Find a boxing button. Whoever heard of a boxing button? Who cares? Find one. Fire one! Oh, wrong one.
"Yellow Submarine", the Beatles' thirteenth UK single, was composed by Paul McCartney in 1966 and was recorded on May 26, 1966, at Abbey Road Studios. The song was released in the UK on 5 August and in the United States on 8 August.
